Na sequência do artigo A verdade sobre as "férias" dos professores, impõe-se uma sondagem sobre o número de horas que um professor trabalha em média por semana. Evidentemente que esta sondagem não é um estudo cientifico sobre o assunto. Ela servirá apenas para quantificar a sensação, que professores e outros terão sobre a carga laboral real ao longo de uma semana. Apesar de o nosso horário estar ainda nas 40 horas semanais, a alteração para as 35 horas semanais está para breve, por isso coloco-as como referência. Aliás, as 35 horas têm sido o padrão, pelo menos desde que eu sou professor.

Peço naturalmente honestidade na resposta.

escola tempo inteiro...? nada que não se faça por cá [apesar dos previsíveis cortes]... e sempre à custa do trabalho 'gratuito' dos professores...!

These experiments can pay off, as is highlighted in documentaries such as Waiting for Superman. But they can also fail, as evidenced every year when charters are not renewed. One size never fits all, but from our shared experiences we have some ideas we hope administrators and teachers bear in mind as they move toward making their school day longer."
